Travel & Off-Site Training Policy

FamilySafe may provide qualifying CPR, safety, workplace, emergency-preparedness, and custom training at client locations outside its immediate Gainesville, Florida service area. This Policy explains how travel is quoted and handled.
1. BUSINESS ADDRESS
FamilySafe’s business and mailing address is 5150 SW 81st Dr, Gainesville, Florida 32608. This is not a public student training location. Students, customers, or participants should not appear at that address for classes, appointments, or walk-in services.
Any in-person class location will be separately identified or arranged for the specific offering or engagement.
2. LOCAL SERVICE AREA
FamilySafe’s standard local service area includes locations within 20 driving miles of FamilySafe’s Gainesville, Florida business base.
When an offering or accepted quote states that local onsite delivery is included, a separate travel charge will not ordinarily apply within that radius unless the quote or offering expressly states otherwise.
3. TRAVEL OUTSIDE THE LOCAL SERVICE AREA
FamilySafe may provide qualifying training outside the local service area. Travel charges are determined according to the actual requirements of the engagement and are disclosed in the applicable quote or proposal before acceptance whenever reasonably possible.
Travel charges may include mileage, tolls, parking, rental vehicles, airfare, baggage or equipment transportation fees, lodging, reasonable meals or per diem, ground transportation, shipping or transportation of training equipment, instructor travel time, additional staffing, and other reasonable expenses necessary to deliver the engagement.
4. OVERNIGHT AND AIR TRAVEL
Engagements requiring airfare, overnight lodging, or substantial travel are individually quoted. FamilySafe may require advance payment of estimated airfare, lodging, transportation, and other nonrecoverable travel expenses before reservations or purchases are made.
A quote will state whether a travel estimate is fixed or subject to adjustment based on actual expenses.
5. CLIENT-REQUESTED CHANGES
If a client changes the date, location, participant count, delivery requirements, or other material terms after FamilySafe has incurred travel expenses, the client may be responsible for resulting airline change fees, hotel charges, transportation changes, increased fares, shipping costs, or other nonrecoverable expenses.
FamilySafe will not add undisclosed travel charges merely because a quote has been accepted. Material additional expenses caused by a client-requested change or a circumstance outside FamilySafe’s reasonable control will be communicated and addressed before FamilySafe incurs the additional expense when reasonably possible.
6. CANCELLATION AND REFUND REVIEW
All refund requests are reviewed case by case under FamilySafe’s Refund & Cancellation Policy. Travel expenses that FamilySafe has already incurred or become obligated to pay for a specific engagement may be considered nonrecoverable when FamilySafe evaluates a refund request.
If FamilySafe cancels an engagement for reasons within FamilySafe’s reasonable control, the client will not be charged for FamilySafe travel expenses that were not used or incurred for the client’s benefit.
For severe weather, hurricanes, transportation cancellation, government action, public emergency, or another circumstance outside FamilySafe’s reasonable control, FamilySafe and the client will ordinarily attempt to reschedule first.
7. CNA SERVICES
Long-distance or nationwide travel availability for CPR, safety, workplace, or emergency-preparedness training does not automatically apply to CNA examination-preparation, CNA skills coaching, or related CNA services. CNA services are subject to FamilySafe’s designated CNA service area, instructor availability, equipment requirements, and delivery model.
